Ship Name: The Lionheart

Ship Design: TBD

Credits: Credit for ship design TBD

Style of Ship: This is a large, slow cargo freighter that has been adapted to be suitable for transporting animals. It was built for function rather than form, and so contains only that which is necessary to do its job—that is to say, spaces for animals, spaces for the crew, and a cockpit and engine room. It basically exists to get perishable things from one place to another, usually over long distances and with as little damage as possible.

Role play style: Primarily character interaction/reaction to the odd situations that can arise when the cargo bay is full of live creatures with their own wants and needs and no good way to communicate. Episode plots will mostly be driven by what animals are in the cargo bay; they will not make the crew members' lives easy. A post every 2-3 days.

Style of Narration: Co-Narration

Crew:
Narrator: Caleb Hall/SpySkater
Captain: Andrea Davos (played by Caleb Hall)
First Mate: Liv Kallan (played by SpySkater)
Pilot: Brooks Bergstrom (played by Rabbit)
Co-Pilot:
Mechanic: Isabel Cortes (played by Firecat)
2 Gunhands: Ivan Kravenoff (played by Wildback)

Doctor (for people): Esmerelda "Esme" Fuentes (Played by Em283)
2 Veterinarians:

(The gunhands do not only have to be gunhands. They can be multitalented)

History: The Lionheart originally sailed under a different name, and was used to transport perishable goods (mostly food and medicine) in bulk to those willing to pay. The ship's first life was short-lived, however, and it soon ended up being junked for more exciting (faster) options. Coming off of a painful divorce, Andrea was looking for a career change and a change of scenery. One night in a bar she overheard a man moaning about his need to transport a herd of sheep. She offered him her services, then ran out and bought the first ship that looked like it would be able to handle the job. She dropped the sheep off after busting a harrowing one-woman mission, and quickly realized that if she wanted to transport living creatures for a living, she'd need help. So, she put out the call for crew, and here we are.

The set up: The Lionheart's first official voyage sees the crew transporting a large collection of snakes to a zoo. The snakes enter the cargo bay in sealed refrigerated boxes to keep them asleep, so it should be an easy ride. Should be...

Crew Capacity: Medium-sized crew.
